Balance: Due 6 weeks before the tour starts.

  No cancellation fees apply
- From 45 to 31:
  50% fee will be charged
- From 30 to 15 days:
  80% fee will be charged
- From 14 to 0 days:
  100% fee will be charged

Arrival in São Miguel, followed by a transfer to your first accommodation. Take time to unwind and connect with nature before embarking on your hikes in the Azores.

Start our island exploration right from our accommodation. Embark on a circular hike inside one of the active volcanoes of the Azores, allowing us to encircle the Lagoa das Furnas. Witness the spectacle of the traditional dish "Cozido" being cooked using the Earth's heat in an area teeming with volcanic vapors and manifestations of lush vegetation and geological wonders. Take advantage of the included entrance fee to the Environmental Center of Lagoa das Furnas. Before returning to your accommodation, seize the opportunity to admire the magnificent Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Vitórias and explore the lush Mata Jardim do Canto.

After a short transfer to the starting point, indulge in a coastal hike in the southern area of São Miguel, where untouched nature meets towering cliffs. Finally, in Ribeira Quente, take the opportunity to swim in the sea, where the water heated by volcanic depths mingles with the salty waves, creating an unforgettable experience. You'll have time to visit the quaint fishing harbor and lunch at one of the local restaurants before the transfer back.

Today, after breakfast, you'll be transferred to Faial da Terra, one of the most remote villages of São Miguel. Enjoy the Sanguinho trail, tracing alongside a river and swimming in the refreshing Salto do Prego waterfall. On this circular route, visit the revitalized village of Sanguinho before heading to the beautiful bathing area, where you can immerse yourself in the pure sea waters. Following the hike, you'll be transferred back to the hotel.

Today, after the transfer, we'll explore the northern coast of the island. Begin your hiking trail from Ribeira Funda, meandering along the shores of Praia da Viola beach until you reach Maia, a quaint fishing village. Along the scenic route, admire the village's idyllic setting against a backdrop of stunning landscapes, passing by historic watermills and captivating waterfalls. During the transfer to the new hotel in Ponta Delgada time to visit the tea plantation (unique in Europe) and the stunning viewpoints.

An opportunity to go on a whale watching visit (optional) or simply stroll through the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Ponta Delgada.

Transfer from the hotel to the trailhead. Hike to Lagoa do Fogo, venturing to the most secluded lake in the Azores, accessible only by foot, following the "Levada" path through mountains and valleys, enjoying magnificent views along the way. Conclude this challenging trekking adventure at Água d'Alto beach, where you can take a refreshing dip. Return transfer to Ponta Delgada.

On your last hike, after the transfer, your walking route, immersing yourself in one of the most island's captivating scenery. Marvel at the sweeping views of crater lakes, with its surprising blue and green lake that you can observe during the whole walk. Your journey culminates in the picturesque village of Sete Cidades, where each step brings you closer to the heart of São Miguel's natural splendor. Take your time to enjoy a meal at one of the charming local restaurants or stroll along the shores of the lagoon. Transfer to Ponta Delgada.
